BMW X1 Noise When Braking Inspection

Tom was brilliant. Called me 20mins before his arrival which was exactly the time he specified to be here for. He carried out the inspection on the brakes and found that the handbrake wasn't releasing correctly which was causing the binding noise I was hearing. He adjusted the handbrake cable and the sound disappeared. With the wheels fitted and car raised up he checked to make sure the handbrake once adjusted was still working as it should and that the handbrake shoes had not become overly worn and everything was okay. Very happy with his professionalism and friendliness, talking me through all the processes he was doing in order to rule things out. Would recommend. Read more
