Early days yet but car seems to be running well, but took longer than expected collected car Thursday 10.25 on 10th Sept returned 14.30 Monday 14th, Told me heat guard on exhaust was noisy on low revs but they said did not have enough time to fix

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that the vehicle is running well following the repair.
We would like to clarify the timescale. The allocated labour time for this repair is approximately 10 hours, but this does not mean the vehicle can be returned exactly 10 hours after collection. The repair involves dismantling and refitting multiple components, carrying out the required work, checking everything after reassembly and completing a road test before the vehicle can be safely handed back.
This is a substantial workshop repair requiring the correct equipment, working environment and appropriate checks — it is not simply a 10-hour job that can be completed without allowing time for the full repair and testing process.
The vehicle was collected on Thursday and returned on Monday. We do not operate over the weekend, which also needs to be taken into account when looking at the overall time the vehicle was with us.
Regarding the exhaust heat guard, this was an additional issue identified and was not part of the original booked repair. Unfortunately, there was not sufficient time to complete additional work before returning the vehicle. We do, however, appreciate the customer's private feedback that earlier communication would have given them the opportunity to authorise additional repairs, and we will take this on board for future bookings.

Once I found the garage, than could be sign posted better, I was met by the mechanic. Job was done in good time and at a good price. Obviously I am not a mechanic so cannot comment on the quality of the job, but all seems good. Would use again and recommend
