The mechanic turned up on time seemed very professional got on with the job and was done in the time allocated

Picked up the car early and got it sorted for me. They had trouble getting a part to fit but were able to in the end. I was ready to scrap the car but thankfully they managed to get it fixed and brought back albeit a little later than anticipated i was kept informed about the issues and only had to chase them once or twice for information. Thank you for sorting the car

We had our car booked in between 8 - 10am on the 29th June to the have the catalytic converter replaced. Had a phone call from mechanic just before 9am and was told that they would be with us shortly. Had another phone call from the mechanic at 11:11am to say that someone was on there way to collect the car. They finally turned up at 13:15 - 3 hours and 15 minutes late, no apology or anything.
When they collected the car I was told it was going for its service when actually it was going to be repaired. Made a phone call to click mechanic to confirm the mechanic was going to carry out the repair and not a service.
Was told that we would have a phone call once the car had been repaired and it would be back with us between 4pm and 6pm, I tried to phone the garage a few times between 5pm and 6pm but had no answer. 6pm came and went with no sign of the car being returned to us, obviously by this time the garage was already closed and click mechanic was closed as well. I then sent some e-mails and messages on the two mobile numbers they had previously phoned me on in the morning to try and find out what was happening with my car. Finally after reporting a problem through the click mechanic site at 18:45 I got a message back at 20:56 saying that the car would be returned asap and they had just been made aware of the situation. They also went on to say that the communication is key and we should have been contacted. They did say at the bottom that someone was now on there way to collect our car and return it to us. We then had a phone call from someone saying that someone was just going to collect the car and return it to us asap. It took another hour and 45 minutes for us to get our car back with it being returned at 22:45. I would not recommend this garage to anyone unless they don't need there car back anytime soon. The communication throughout the whole day was absolutely awful and at the second phone call they even asked what one it was that needed changing on the car ( it was in to have the catalytic converter replaced and as they should know the car only has one ) There time keeping was awful and at no point through out the two phone calls we did receive did they mention they would be late. I am grateful that the car was finally returned to us but if I hadn't of continuously sent messages it probably wouldn't of been returned that evening. Read more
