I was supposed to just have an oil and filter changed , but carried out a vehicle check that i did not ask for. He told me that my breaks were worn low and there was a leak
on the drive shaft. I had just had my MOT
the week before , that passed?.

Luke said he would bring my car back in one and half hours , but came back four hours later.

Luke was courteous & friendly, his third party collection service let him down ( hence the low punctuality rating), his back up team turned up 5 hours later, working nights this wasn't ideal for myself as it was left to me to chase up & find out what was happening! (Hence the mid communication rating)
Had to use alternative transport to get too & from work the first evening (Lewes/Hailsham & back),
The following afternoon I was again left to call to find out whether/when & if the car was being returned/fixed that day
The final cost was higher than the original quote even though my initial enquiry to arrange the repair (clutch replacement) was quite clear it would need transportation to his workshop as couldn't be driven. (Extra for transportation to the workshop).
Clutch replaced, driving OK for now & slightly cheaper than local garages/mechanics in Hailsham.
Nice guy & would definitely use again (work quality), just needs to improve punctuality, communication (for people like myself who works nights) & more accurate pricing (money is tight currently for us all).
