Having used a local garage for years, found their service go down and prices go up. Clickmechanic takes all the guess work and uncertainty out of taking your car to garages :)

I asked for an alternator replacement as had the belt done and issue was definitely that.

They came I popped to shop the next thing you now it needs a new belt aswell.

The belt was hanging on when got back from shop. Strange as I was driving all day.

Anyway was called saying need to get done else they would leave as is. Basically undrivable

So paid to get done.

Basically do not leave them unattended else they will rip you off

Reply from M S H Motors Ltd:

The issue was the belt, and it definitely needed replacing. We have pictures of the old belt which clearly show its condition and confirm that the belt needed to be changed.

We would never recommend or carry out unnecessary work, and the replacement was done because the belt was in a condition where it needed replacing.
