Pre Purchase Vehicle Inspection Review:

Pro - arrived early at the dealership.
Con - Dealership had said the mechanic didn't test drive the van and the van was parked up against a high wall meaning only one side of the van was visible for inspection.

When I test drove the van myself after arriving post inspection, shifting down into first was a chore.

The only two issues noted by the mechanic was the driver seat was torn and the rear double doors need a slight slam to close properly.

I would have appreciated a more thorough inspection for nearly £200 that seemed to take the mechanic less than an hour to carry out.

He came on the same day to take my car to fix my exhaust filter full warning on Friday evening and return it the following day before midday with the problem fixed. Would recommend using them again. (Other car mechanics quote over £480 when it was short of £300 only!).
