Unfortunately his prior job overran meaning he was 2 hours late, but he did message to let me know he would know be delayed, then called when he was 40 mins away.
When he got here - right down to it and changed the pads in about 45 mins.
Not driven the car yet, but happy with the price and service.

My car was serviced and had an MOT on Monday and had no issues at all, was driving well. I booked the work as sparks plugs need replacing after a certain amount of time as per my car manual. After Valentin worked on my car, it could also have been coincidence but now one of my ignition coils isn't working and I have to get it fixed. This is very stressful as I now have to take a day of work to get this fixed as I need to drive several hours away this evening. I regret booking the work through click mechanic and wish I'd booked it through my dealership instead.

I’d like to address a few important points from your message:
When we first discussed the booking, you mentioned that the team at the garage during your MOT and service told you the spark plugs needed replacing — not specifically the car manual, as stated now. This already suggested there may have been early signs of an issue, even if not fully diagnosed at the time.
It’s important to understand that MOT inspections don’t include in-depth checks of ignition components unless there’s an obvious fault or warning light.
They may have simply noted the condition of the plugs without investigating further.
During my visit, I not only replaced the spark plugs but also carried out a full diagnostic scan and live testing. Based on that, we identified the real cause of the issue: ignition coil number 4 is faulty. This was confirmed by physically swapping coils and plugs between cylinders and observing that the fault followed coil 4 — a standard and reliable method of diagnosing such problems.
You received a detailed diagnostic report showing this clearly in black and white, and I also informed you verbally at the start that the issue likely involved more than just spark plugs.
Unfortunately, ignition coils can fail unpredictably, regardless of mileage. I understand how frustrating the timing is, but please rest assured that everything was diagnosed properly and transparently.
