Not impressed with the mechanic breaking the locking nut tool, so all four wheels had to be worked on, when the original task was to replace rear brakes only. Mechanic also ordered four new wheel nuts to replace the smashed locking nuts with, even though the original nuts were in the same box as the broken tool.
Work carried across into the next day and resulted in an additional charge of £78, £12 for the extra nuts. This cost was charged to my credit card before I was told of the costs, which I find unacceptable.

Overall, I would prefer to be told of costs before the work is done, especially as this was one of your biggest selling points.

The mechanic himself was very polite and helpful in giving lifts between his workshop and my work place, when the work could not be done as originally arranged.
