The mechanic turned up two hours early, which would have been fine except I was out when they called round. The work appears to have been carried out to a good standard, and I appreciate the effort that was put in given that getting the condenser out was tricky because of a number of corroded fixings.

If I have a criticism it's that communication should have been better. I had to chase to get an update, and then when a promised call back at the end of the day didn't materialise I had to chase the following day for an update and confirmation of when my car was due to be dropped back off. When I was able to speak to the mechanic though they were informative and friendly.
