I had great local mechanic who was able to contact me within just a few hours of my request and initial transaction being processed, who was then available for the requested date and time I needed him for. He arrived promptly on the day and was able to assess the problem straight away. However, as a first time user I was only made aware of the clickmechanic service being able to offer an initial 'diagnostic assessment', after I'd selected what I only thought was the problem, proceeded with the transaction and the mechanic had turned up to tell me. It was really a diagnostic assessment I was keen to have in the first place, and above all, before I was ready to commit to any repairs being carried out and so this option needs to be a lot clearer.

Simon was great with good communication and got the job done in a timely manner. The car ran perfectly after he had fitted a new driveshaft and he even took the time to test drive to make sure the car was okay.
