He was on time, friendly and did what i paid for however further work was required. An o2 sensor needed changing but he quoted me £430 which i was not happy about as it is a simple repair. So i have decided to have the work done elsewhere.

Hassan was great. Even called me after to provide further advice.

Hassan did a good job with changing the brake pads on my vehicle. Parts overpriced but still £100 cheaper overall than best online quote. Had to reset brake pad warning light myself, but this only meant leaving the key into ignition position 2 for a minute or so, not to bothered about that (although he did try to say that the light didn't go off due to the rear brakes being an issue).

Hasan was on time, diagnosed problem straight away

Hassan was polite and punctual. Unfortunately, he didn't reset my service clock after the service, and he told me that the car would fail the MOT I had booked with him after the service. The good thing was that he cancelled the MOT - the bad thing is that he gave me a quote for more than £200 more than those jobs would cost if I booked with ClickMechanic directly. Also, he did what I consider to be a scare tactic - despite me not having any serious concerns about the car, I apparently "shouldn't drive it another mile" before having this over-priced repair completed. One the the repairs I agree with, at least in part, and will be seeking a second opinion, but the other is patently not correct and would have required lots of expense to carry out.

Also, we noticed while checking some of Hassan's suggestions for additional work that his jack had clearly slipped while he was using it (presumably it wasn't in our jack point correctly), and the bottom of our car is now damaged as a result. It's fairly minor, but I've never seen a mechanic do that kind of damage to my car - it felt sloppy and careless.

The saving grace is that he didn't take the car for an MOT and then fail it. Now I can get the work done properly and get a proper MOT. Read more
