Miles was the mechanic
I stayed with him throughout his visit and hope I didn't make him uncomfortable.
Very thorough with everything he checked I can say.
I originally booked to have some parts replaced as I had a noise that I want to get rid of. His initial inspection suggested that what I thought was the problem has nothing to do and he had found the real issue. I asked if his diagnose will solve the noise and he said yes. Went ahead and followed his instruction that went in a different part of the car and that cost me almost £100 in addition. Unfortunately his diagnostic, part replaced and extra £100 didn't work at all. He worked on the car two hours and at the end we had to reschedule because I was out of time.
Returned two days later; while testing some parts he over twisted a bolt and needed replacement which he did. Coincidentally it was the part that originally I had asked to replace to begin with. The noise didn't go away but it toned down.
I am now still with the noise after a £200 bill paid and Miles is not contacting me back to come again and try to find the issue.
