Although, after the full service, my car is handling quite well now, that still doesn't excuse the things that happened. I naively told my mechanic about the wheel bearings being changed last year, and me being suspicious that this took place. He then asked me which ones had been replaced. A bit odd. Shouldn't he know? Can't he figure it out? Then proceeded to tell me another wheel bearing needs replacing. As usual, no evidence is provided and you are forced to believe them. The cost of this job with replacing a bulb which I wasn't aware needed replacing was £274.01 because of course it is. The labour alone is £189.
49 for an hour and a half work which is insane. What is really suspicious is that I had a detailed report in 2022 and all wheel bearings were put down as in the green. But maybe last year's garage took off my wheel bearings and replaced them with nasty ones. Also, wheel bearings should last a minimum of 85k miles. My car has done 71k. This is all very highly suspicious and there needs to be a new system introduced that guarantees to customers that work needs to take place, with provided evidence.
But what really annoys me is that the email sent to me about the M.O.T. CLEARLY STATES that my car passed the MOT which includes checking the wheel bearings. Why would this be sent to me if it is not true? Just put in the email that it failed and list the failures. It is like you are just provoking me at this point.
On top of this the original mechanic cancelled hours before he was due to show up so I guess one of their tools stopped working just that morning. What strange timing. I wonder what the real reason was.
And also, to add insult to the whole experience, the mechanic added no report, but a tiny receipt where the printer had not worked and just printed a load of garbled mess. The receipt is completely unreadable and serves no purpose other than to aggravate me further.
And he had my car for about 50 hours which is ridiculous.
I contacted Click Mechanic to see if they would do anything. And low and behold they did nothing as usual and just sided with the mechanic. This is so typical in this country. Customer service is a redundant profession. Their job is to simply tell you that nothing is going to happen. None of these people ever help you. I am not happy with this experience. And I don't want to hear: "I'm sorry you had a bad experience and we didn't meet your expectations" nonsense that you constantly hear.
Life is getting exceedingly unlivable in this country. I don't know how much more I can take.

As explained to you multiple times your vehicle had failed mot that was done by an independent garage. All details are recorded and are available on the gov website.
The reason it was asked is because you had mentioned prior work and issues with your brakes.
