Bit disappointed.chose clickmechanic as I assumed this was a mobile mechanic service and the price stated would be to complete the work onsite. Although the site does say there may be a collection charge, I Wasn’t really expecting an extra £60 to take the car to a garage. Initial price for repair £338 ended up at £608 due to “extra work”, which I was happy to be done if needed. However I was then called to say the radiator was leaking? My only comment here is that prior to the clutch problem, and the car being collected, it was being used daily with no sign of a major water leak or any overheating issues? I therefore cannot comment on quality of repair yet because until I get a new radiator I cannot drive the car, hopefully the work done by “mr Peter” will be as good as the reviews suggest. Would definitely pay to have diagnostic check done before going ahead with any repairs to get a better idea of the real cost. Read more

Peter was great. The mot brought up a bit of work and an advisory that i asked Peter to do at the same time. Kept me informed and brought the car back as soon as possible. A work colleague told me about click mechanic and I would pass on the recommendation.

Peter was so lovely. He phoned to let me know when he was arriving. Spoke to me again to inform me that he would have to keep the car overnight. Dropped my car off and explained what he'd done. Very good price. Will definitely use Peter again.

Peters work was great but the customer service from click mechanics agent Jo was shocking , the issue I have is that once click mechanic has taken payment and the mechanic has to change the date it looks you funds in for 8 day hostage , then you get accused if having no funds to pay for the work , and trying to get sense back from the customer service agent is so poor its annoyingly stressful , there's no need for click mechanic to behave in such a way to accuse me of having insufficient fund when they all ready have locked the payment to there account , I as a customer should be treated by this company alot better , no offer of compensation even after the mechanic help my car overnight as I didn't pay , but after explaining and showing the mechanic the full payment was pending on my bank app , and it was click mechanics issue the payment didn't go though and me pleding that my chemotherapy appointment was the following day and need car to get there he brought it back , then 2 days later I lost all coolant, turns out I had a tiny slot in my heater hose which after 24hrs repaired myself as no mechanic got back to me , now the reason I used click mechanic was because the cancer treatment I'm. having I'm to ill to work on a car , but because of this issue I had to and now 2nd day in bed because I can't move ,
So again the mechanics are good but hold your car illegally if the don't recieve payment even though the click mechanic company has the funds in pre payment , the customer service is shocking and 💯 stressful , there not a company that helps its terminally ill customers that need a quick professional job done , I've been offered no compensation and I had to fix my own car that you've ment to have fixed .
