Labour-Only Repairs – Customer Responsibilities and Warranty
In exceptional cases, ClickMechanic may provide a labour-only repair quote. These are not part of our standard service and are only offered in exceptional cases.
This article explains customer responsibilities and the limitations of labour-only repairs.
Customer Responsibilities
Parts Quality: You must supply brand-new parts from reputable suppliers
Used, reconditioned, or low-quality parts cannot be used.
Parts CompatibilityParts must match your specific vehicle (model, engine code, VIN, production year).
If parts are incorrect, incompatible, or missing, the mechanic may still charge the full labour rate, as time has been reserved for your booking.
Warranty & Liability
No labour warranty is provided for labour-only repairs.
The mechanic cannot be held responsible for faults, failures, or issues caused by the supplied parts.
Any warranty relating to the parts themselves is between you and the supplier.
Additional charges may apply if incorrect parts cause extra work, delays, or rebooking.
Important Notes
Labour-only repairs are an exception and are only offered in specific cases.
These repairs do not reflect ClickMechanic’s standard service or guarantees.
