ClickMechanic now offers contact-free repairs & servicing
At ClickMechanic, we’ve taken action to help keep our customers and mechanics safe during the outbreak of COVID-19.
These are uncertain times and we've put contingencies in place to make our car repair service even safer and more convenient.
We are offering a "contact-free" key exchange and service, to aid with the government recommended social distancing. What this means in practice is that any booking placed with us will be “contact-free”, and your mechanic will accommodate your request.
In practice a “contact-free” service will look as follows:
You place a booking on the site, and select the card payment option
Mechanic will call ahead of booking to arrange a “contact-free” key exchange. This will involve customers leaving their key in a safe place where the mechanic can collect it
Mechanic carries out the work booked
Mechanic delivers the vehicle back and returns the keys in a prior agreed safe place
Further to that we urge mechanics to follow these basic guidelines to make their visit as hygienic as possible:
Follow government guidelines, including washing hands thoroughly and using hand sanitiser
Use disposable gloves
Use disposable seat covers and steering wheel covers to protect car interiors
