Avtar runs and operates Lynx Auto Centre in Horsham and the business began back in 1992. The business began as solely a tyre based business as the years have passed the team have diversified and in 1999 they were granted an MOT licence to be able to do MOT testing as an official centre, with this in mind the business developed even further and now today they do all repairs. The team operate a collection/drop-off facility at the garage on most jobs and will always notify you when they take the booking on and if we can do any of the repairs mobile we will try as we know it makes your life easier. The business is owned by myself Avtar as previously mentioned and we have 3 fully qualified mechanics in: Jeff, Gabi & Martin also we have Matt who is our driver and assistant, and it may be any of these guys who you see on the collection/drop-off of your vehicle here at Lynx Auto Centre. Very happy with the work carried out by Avtar. He picked up the car within an hour of raising a ticket through ClickMechanic, and although he didnt get the work completed within the day, he kept me informed what was going on, and the car returned fixed early the next day.

The communication with Lynx was excellent, the gentleman that we spoke to in the garage was courteous and friendly and seemed very professional and kind. The chap who came to collect the vehicle was friendly and professional too - a really genuine person. The garage warned me in advance that the work (a service and drive chain replacement) might need the car to stay overnight at the garage, which was fine. They also said that they would try to include a replacement water pump if they could for the same price - they kept their word. We are in discussion with the garage about one or two issues about the quality of the work, which is why I have left quality rating at 1 for the moment.

Very polite and helpful. Quickly identified that the problem was electrical not mechanical, and said he would check the diagnostic test when back at the garage. Received a phone call back from the garage confirming that it needed an auto electrician and a further visit was arranged.

Car booked in for 10 to 12 am Garage phoned me on Friday 19 the to ask if they could collect between 8 and 8.30. Got up early to accommodate them. Nobody turned up so had to phone them. Guy on the phone waffled a lot but no apology? Turned up at 1015 but was a bit lost so had to go and find him!
I assume the work was carried out OK as it was only a fuel filter change.
