Simon carried out the job of putting new "Wet" timing belts on my Ford Focus. It took around 9 hours to complete the work which was done at the roadside on a busy area. The weather was inclement with cold wind and rain beating down. As the car was around the corner from my house, I checked with Simon a couple of times but he said he was OK and plodded on. It was the Friday before the storm hit us.
Simon explained what had to be done. Despite the awful conditions and loss of light he remained cheerful and completed the work that evening.
