🛠 Why your DPF may be blocked:
Over time, ash builds up in your DPF as a by-product of the regeneration process. Normally, your DPF self-cleans every 200–300 miles. However, frequent short trips, faulty sensors, or excessive soot can prevent this, leading to:
• Loss of power
• Engine warning lights
• “DPF Full” messages (not always)
• Increased fuel use
• Exhaust smells inside the car

🔧 Our DPF Cleaning Process:
1. Stage 1: Flushing Agent – breaks down carbon and ash inside the DPF
2. Stage 2: Rinsing Agent – washes out loosened matter
3. Clean Water Flush – continued until the water runs clear
4. Manual Backpressure Test – confirms your DPF is now operating within safe limits
This method works almost every time. The only rare exception is when a DPF has physically collapsed or melted — we’ve seen just 21 cases like that in 9 years so is a very rare thing to happen.
Why should you have an Engine carbon cleans I need?
When the DPF is blocked gas flow is affected and within this gas are carbon deposits which build up further back in the engine causing breath ability issues, running rough, hunting idle, excessive emissions for mot, generally if it feels like it’s choking it is!!
