Aaron was very good and knowledgeable. The actual fault is perhaps more or less what I had expected the supply of power to the starter motor. I am happy with the testing as I do now know its the relay rather than the wiring and the location of the actual relay that seems to be something that main dealer might replace under guarantee.

We had already had a Green Flag mechanic out this morning but they were completely useless and didn’t even bother looking under the bonnet.

Our car is dead dead sadly (beyond economical repair) but Aaron was thorough in his diagnostics, took bits apart to find the root cause and explained potential repair costs versus age etc… so we could make an informed decision and didn’t try to haggle us for patching it up like we’ve had some mechanics do in the past.
