Jozsef was really nice and got the job done promptly and even gave some advice on my calipers afterwards as well.

I had requested a premium pre purchase inspection (£275) for a 25 year old Jaguar XK8 convertible as I live far away from the advertised car.

I expected that the mechanic who picked up the job would have detailed knowledge of this particular car.

Joszef performed a good inspection of all the generic parts of the car (corrosion, suspension, brakes, lights etc).

He took pictures of the error codes and forwarded those as well as pictures and a video of the car.
I did not get the impression that Joszef had particular knowledge of this particular model.

The seller did "advise against" opening the convertible roof and Joszef did not insist. (Wording according to seller when contacted later). No attempt appears to have been made to contact me at the time regarding this.

When we spoke later the seller mentioned that Joszef had commented that the advertised price was appropriate which made price negotiation impossible despite several potentially costly issues that required repair before the next MOT (2 months)

Fantastic guy, hard working and very knowledgeable. Arrived and was straight on the job working continuously for two and a half hours until complete. Explained what he had done. Very stratified. Living in a rural area it is a bit of a problem getting to a garage several miles away, having this service come to my property was hassle fee. Will certainly use again.

Think Jozsef diagnosed the problem but didn’t have a replacement part because the previous diagnosis was incorrect.
Unfortunately bank holiday weekend so no supply shops were open.
Charged £103 for diagnostics including 1 hours work which I thought was on the expensive side.
