I paid for a diagnostic and this mechanic confidently told me the alternator was the problem. Based on his so-called expertise, I spent a huge amount of money replacing it.

Surprise: the car still has the exact same fault. The alternator was NOT the issue at all.

This was not a “small mistake” — this was pure guesswork dressed up as professional advice. Because of his wrong diagnosis, I’ve wasted hundreds and now need to pay AGAIN for another diagnostic to find the actual problem.

If you enjoy throwing money away on incorrect diagnoses, this is the mechanic for you. Otherwise, avoid. Completely unreliable and clearly not thorough enough to be trusted with diagnostics.
