Derek did a great job. Happy with his work. Lower headlight bulb was soon replaced. Derek knew exactly what needed doing to replace the bulb.

I booked a priority service by paying 90 pounds. The mechanic kinda reached late but I won’t hold it against him because they are hard working people. It’s ok I’m happy I at least got a mechanic to my doorstep. But what really troubled me was after inspection he said my alternator needs replacing and gave me a quote for 600 pounds. Well before spending such amount I thought it would be wise to get a second opinion. Turns out the alternator was totally fine and the issue was with crankshaft pulley. I got the whole thing fixed for under 400. Imagine if I had paid 600 for the alternator and later found out about the crankshaft. Another 400? You see where it was going? So the 90 quid I paid for priority service went right down the drain. I neither got the right diagnosis nor a solution. I mean no offence to anyone but if you are charging 90 quid at least make it worth for the customer. Lesson? Don’t expect proper diagnosis at your doorstep. I had a phone call yesterday asking me what time today they could pick up my car for a service and MOT. Today I got another call saying they would be here in 20 minutes, and even then they were early and returned at the time agreed too. Excellent service.
