Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a commercial vehicle sales, servicing and repair centre . Duties include vehicle inspections, diagnostics, servicing, brake repairs, suspension repairs, clutch replacements, electrical fault finding, MOT preparation, tyre fitting and general maintenance on light commercial vehicles and vans. Regularly diagnose and repair faults on Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Citroën, Renault, Vauxhall and Fiat commercial vehicles.
Ford Transit Technician - 2014-2019
Day-to-day activities include carrying out routine servicing, vehicle inspections, diagnostics and repairs on Ford Transit/ Connect and Ranger . Responsible for identifying faults using diagnostic equipment, performing engine, electrical, brake and suspension repairs, replacing clutches and worn components, preparing vehicles for MOT tests, and completing preventative maintenance. Ensures all work is carried out safely, efficiently and to manufacturer standards while maintaining accurate service records and delivering excellent customer service. Familiar with all generations of Ford Transit vehicles and experienced in supporting both commercial fleet operators and private owners.
