The Mechanic was fine, my bad review is only for Click mechanic, KN you'll lose many customers using this service... They've pre autorised 1st payment taking the money on pending around £200, car needed other parts and put on pending other around £300, then when work completed they've took the entire payment out this time on full transaction so double charged in total , one of the 2the pending transactions didn't get back since 5 days... I'm still waiting, really needed that money and my account is still down of £300 since nearly a week now... Blaming each other whirl..and the bank blamed both. . Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration caused by the payment process.
As discussed, the issue was related to ClickMechanic’s pre-authorisation system and pending bank transactions rather than any duplicate charge taken by ourselves directly. Unfortunately these pending authorisations can sometimes take several working days to clear depending on the bank involved.
We also note that a Google review was later left alleging an oil leak following the service. However, no concerns or issues were reported to us directly after the work was completed, and we were not given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle or investigate the allegation before the review was posted.
Had we been contacted, we would have happily checked the vehicle immediately.
We appreciate your comments regarding our workmanship and communication on the ClickMechanic platform and always aim to resolve any genuine concerns fairly and professionally.

I was so nervous about trying this but wow I had no need to be! Communication was great! I was contacted the day before to confirm collection time and also on the day with an update that the works had been done. Everyone I spoke to was so lovely and friendly, this is a mechanic I’d definitely recommend and would happily return to!
