Absolutely fuming with the service I’ve gotten, I paid £380 through clickmechanic to get my radiator changed as this same mechanic had left his head torch in the engine bay when changing the starter motor and it had wrapped round fan and worn a hole in it. My van then was still overheating and I asked him to investigate I was then charged an extra £130 for a pipe and £280 for ‘other parts’ and the van still was returned back to me overheating. Said they had changed the thermostat and water pump ‘housing’ and it is probably head gasket. Took it to another mechanic he fixed it within a couple of hours it was a faulty thermostat and he explained there was air in the radiator that had to be blead out and the water pump had not been touched. Please avoid at all costs this has been a very expensive mistake using this particular mechanic.Nearly £1k in charges and my van was worse off after they had done messing with it. Better off waiting for a good mechanic as you may be worse off. Read more
