Nissan Micra Battery replacement (vehicles without stop/start system)
Vehicle locked due to no power in battery gain access to vehicle to allow replacement battery to be fitted

Mechanic Andrew came on time, was done with work fast, however, the communication and payment was not kosher. I let him know in advance (prior to his visit) that my battery is so out of service that it no longer let's me even open the car. He said that is fine and nothing else. And suddenly at the day of appointment he told me that on the top of £100 which I knew about I will have to pay additional cost. I asked how much he didn't want to tell me and after he left I found out that he charged that "unknown" amount to my card already. He was here 23 mins and charged me extra for additional half an hour of his labour. It felt like a scam. If he would tell me about this extra cost when I informed him about the situation, it would give me chance to decide whether I even won't to go ahead with his services or to find someone else. And again once he already came and I asked directly he didn't want to say. So be careful, there are hidden costs and it will be taken from your card without your consent!!! Read more

Unfortunately he could not do the job as the computer wouldn't connect to the car. Hugely disappointed.
