Shan was fantastic. I was one of those guys that has succumbed to the allure of a Range Rover. The car was being sold by a dealer about a solid hour’s drive from me and i am not a mechanic. Heeded the warnings online and booked the pre-inspection as for the same could by the 2008 3.6 TDV8 with impeccable history but cos of ULEZ and the 5.0 V8 was tempted if mechanic thought it was a good car… These mechanics and especially Shan in North Surrey work for you best interests and was very honest. The issues with the car were plan to see and i booked this due to the part history. Obviously concerned dealer could slip him a note and say all good and think im stupid. Shan was very honest, worked for my best interest, and saved me a journey where i might have got too excited and pressured to buy the car…. Also, info helps to negotiate and had the dealer been open to that before i might have tried but fact he wasnt on initial call and confident for this inspection made my decision not to bother. 100% worth the money and from the pictures and talk on the phone i know what to look for on the one i have agreed to buy (with meticulous perfect history)!
