I could not recommend Shane more highly. Honestly I was a bit dubious as his reviews are all *so* positive I thought perhaps he was too good to be true, but he is totally deserving of all the glowing feedback!

Not only was the Click Mechanic quote for a new clutch £200 less than what a local garage had quoted me (and they had checked the car and confirmed I needed my clutch replacing), but on inspecting the car Shane told me that actually the issue wasn't with the clutch, and was something else (that affects how the clutch works), and saved me a further £50!
Since he had done the same model of car with the same issue the day before, he was then proactive in bringing with him both a new clutch kit (which is what I had booked) and the part he ended up using so that he could do the job that same day either way, saving me both time and money.
Shane also took the time to speak to me for almost 30 minutes on the phone when I was first matched with him for the job, to discuss whether to proceed with him (because I hadn't used Click Mechanic before and was nervous about how it worked!), and then he messaged me photos of other cars he'd worked on with a similar problem.

Shane was communicative, polite, trustworthy, honest and, most importantly, a great mechanic. I could not recommend him more highly! Read more
