I paid £27 for a diagnostic check on my motor as there is a battery drain the guy from jaimeys
who was a very polite and eficient person diagnosed that there was a battery drain and had proof on his phone when I asked my diag test was told it was not needed
and the drain fault would need two people to find for another £118 thats just to find but Andy
the point is I wanted and paid for a diag search which does loads of engine checks plugs fuel
exhaust etc I aske would I get my money back no as mechanic informed that I had a diag on his phone andy if you paid me to diagnose your boiler thats what I would do not just glance inside and say me and my mate will have to come and plug my computer in at an extra cost how long would I stay in business andy I dont want no further action on this its done and done with thanks ps please excuse mistakes poor schooling.

Extremely happy with the mechanic from Jamie’s..such a friendly young man who talked me through the work he carried out on my car and showed me exactly what had been done. I had a full service last week where he then recommended a coolant/ antifreeze drain and refill which was completed today. I shall be using them next time I need any repairs/ maintenance doing. Well recommended.

I requested the pre-purchase service, and Jamie was amazing, just brilliant. Having read the reviews, I had high expectations about the level of service I would receive, but I certainly didn't expect photos of every part of the car with his comments, diagnostic checks, a list of around 200 checks, each with a scale from poor to excellent, and a comment on each.

Jamie then called me to talk through his findings and highlight areas he felt I should know about. He even picked up that the bonnet had been removed because the paint around the screws had been worn by a ratchet, then went to to explain why that may have happened. He was so knowledgeable, polite and genuine.

What it gave me is piece if mind that I was buying a car that was safe for me and my family to drive.

I was booked in today with Fred from Jamie’s Mobile Mechanics for the premium pre purchase inspection and I’m extremely impressed with Fred’s service. He was on time, friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable. Fred took the time to answer all of my questions and the concerns I had about the vehicle. Later on in the day I had trouble accessing something in my click mechanic portal (which was due to my being a bit of a tech dinosaur) and Fred was very patient and let me know how to access the inforrmation. I made the right decision by booking as the used car we were wanting to purchase had several issues (some of which only a qualified experienced mechanic would pick up on) including one very serious fault.
