I booked an appointment to fix a possible fuel issue. The mechanic said that the car was running on the day of the visit and drained oil from the engine. (My wife was present, I was at work) The next morning when I tried to go to work the car wouldn't start and the original problem remained. I'm a little confused as to why I have to identify symptoms on your website, pay £50.40 for a call out fee and the mechanic arrives and doesn't even try to identify the cause, which your site said was a fuel issue.
My wife has called the contact centre... No one answered, so she emailed and was asked to speak directly to the mechanic herself for a return visit.
She has also emailed a second time for confirmation of monies due. I would hope that the only payment expected on our part would be additional costs for parts which I'm more than happy to pay. I would not however, be happy to pay for a second call out fee. This is the first time I have used this service. I am willing to give second chances and would be more than happy to use your service again based on the outcome of this instance. Read more
