Alan arrived on time. Explained what the job involved. Answered all my questions such as what if part fails. Would very much recommend him to anyone lucky to have his service in my area.

I am very glad that I was forewarned about the punctuality - my visit was scheduled for 11:00-1:00, but the chap turned up at about 3:00. Don't sign up for this service unless you've got nothing else on for the day! When he did turn up, he was friendly and helpful. He pursued the fault in my car radio with total concentration until he found and fixed it - I was impressed. But for the main fault (leaking master cylinder), he just said that it would all have to be taken apart before he could say what was wrong or how much it would cost to fix. So I'm pretty much back where I started with on that question. Ditto with the grinding noise I hear when driving. So for £50 I now have a spliced radio wire.
