THE FITTER ARRIVED AND WENT STRAIGHT TO WORK ON THE PROBLEM.
I had removed the unit that required replacement, I also informed the manager of the garage what part was required and what the part number was and sent photos to his mobile phone. (he stated that they had sent the wrong part) It seems that I was charge for an extra thermostat when the complete unit has one fitted as standard (the charge of £5.27) I also told him the cost of the complete unit was £35.29 incl VAT but I have been charged £68.09. I think the overall bill to be excessive for the work carried out. The fitter was excellent and has my thanks for the work carried out.
