After qualifying with a distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Oxford College, I have worked in various workshops over the past 20 years gaining a wealth of experience and knowledge. This included working for a Volkswagen main agent before moving to an independent garage where I gained an MOT qualification carrying out tests for 10 years, then moving into the NHS & finally a large multi-chain auto centre before progressing to set up my own business, Mechanical Vehicle Solutions. Mark has done an excellent job. Although he wasnt able to keep the initial appointment time, he communicated his reason and was able to do the job later in the day without any inconvenience to me. I'd be more than happy to use him again in future.

MINI Mini Starter motor replacement
Supply fit missing bolt to drive shaft center bearing housing & secure remaining bolts. Move engine earth to new fixing position with new nut.

Mark had great communication, sent pictures of diagrams and went the extra-mile with the repair work, putting in missing bolts and re-fashioning earth-straps on the fly, which were damaged by previous 'repairs'. Recommended!

I'm really happy with the work Mark did. He was friendly and gave me lots of information prior to the work being completed which really put me at ease. He also set realistic expectations in terms of turnaround time. In addition to that Mark kept me updated on the completion of the work.

I would definitely recommend using him.
