BMW 3 Series Diagnostic Inspection

He is friendly but not knowledgable. I am not happy with his work at all. He could not be able to tell the possible reasons based on the dashboard lights what I noticed? He is very limited in knowledge and sticks with the device. Anyone can do that kind of check I don't know why he charged me for nothing? I took it to BMW for diagnostics and they found out the problem in 30 minutes and it is nowhere near to what he was talking about? He does not look like an expert to deal with diagnostics. He charged me almost close to what BMW charged me? In fact, he was advised to take it to the garage as he could not be able to find the issue.
