Jamie B
I began my career with an independent garage In Eltham, where I completed my apprenticeship and stayed on for 10 years. In 2014 I set-up my own business trading as JB Auto Repairs offering fully mobile services catering for all makes/models & repairs. I also contract my business out to BMW Main Dealership for 2 days a week as a specialist and with this in mind I specialise in German vehicles. Bmw tech hybrid qualified

Great guy and knows his work. Would always go back to Jamie for any future works . Did a fully loaded service and now there's a big difference in the drive . Had some brakes done a few month ago but only needed sensors put but he was honest enough to let me know i made a mistake when diagnosing myself .

Jamie was absolutely superb! Very easygoing and professional, explaining the work he had carried out along the way. He also provided tips with regards to servicing and helped me navigate the settings (something I didn't really want to mess around with!). Couldn't have asked for a better mechanic. Will definitely use again :-)

He was absolutely amazing. Did the job in well under the hour estimated, was friendly and, most of all, was not condescending about an idiot who knows nothing about cars! Couldn't have been better!

Jamie was very polite, and was thorough in carrying out the work.
He also took time to explain, even when I did not understand some things.

I would recommend to my family and friends.

Jamie was very good, he did the service as required; however when he run the diagnostic on the vehicle he said what came up was a coil on one of the spark plugs which may have impeded the performance of the vehicle and he said I’ve got way with it being replaced and I said I could drive it up to Notting Hill which he didn’t object to, but as I was driving it up there it started to shake then as I got to Victoria the spanner warning sign came up and the the yellow traction sign; to say I was disappointed was an understatement! ii phoned the mechanic and he said I misunderstood what he said about the coil, he would have to replace it and price it up; if I’d known I would just had the diagnostic done and a interim service plus the coil it’s costing me now about £350 but I suppose that’s life.

Reply from Jamie:

Customer misunderstood a service will not exstinguish a Engine management fault currently on the dashboard. I found a fault on the ignition coil pack whilst carrying out the service and pointed to him this could be the fault. I Tried to save the customer the price of a ignition coil pack by cleaning off the corrosion and explained to the customer hopefully this was all the issue was with the engine management light fault. Upon customer driving engine management warning light comes on so obviously customer not happy which is totally understandable. Next time I will advise to replace the parts instead of trying to help the customer out by cleaning the corrosion from the old part.
