The job itself was completed, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing. Communication and professionalism were lacking, and I had to chase for updates when the mechanic was running late. When I raised my concerns, the response was unhelpful. Getting the job done is important, but so is keeping customers informed and handling complaints professionally. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t use this mechanic again.

This is the first time I used Click Mechanic (sourced via Checkatrade website this morning when my car wouldn't start ).Dan was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient and had a confident friendly manner. He was reassuring that the problem was solely my battery and nothing else in the system (solenoid starter motor alternator etc). He got my car started promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him or booking him again. ( I just hope I don't have to).

I had a diagnostic - it went well in terms of how well he did the diagnostic because he found the major faults (that a previous mechanic couldn't) which helped us out majorly. Very punctual and provided everything in writing when I requested it.
I recommend.

Tyler was brilliant. Checked everything to rule out what may be causing the engine to overheat. Great communication explaining everything to me, what he was doing, why this does this and what should be happening. Thankfully not too serious and the likelihood a thermostat housing needed to keep it 100%. I highly recommend Tyler and proved ClickMechanic a more cost effective alternative than pricey dealers or really busy independents.

Tyler was absolutely amazing, so quick to book and get the car fixed before needing to drive to Cornwall this coming weekend, we had lots of text communication and although I couldn't be there for the repair my mum assured me he was polite and really nice, he did an excellent job and the car is now running really well. I would book with Tyler again in a heartbeat, highly recommended.
