I had a battery fitted by Shahid and unfortunately he fitted the wrong battery for my car.

I only found out 2 and a half years later that I have been driving around with the wrong battery because I took it in to a competent mechanic to finally solve all the problems I have been having due to the wrong battery:

1. Battery keeps needing to be jump started, even though it is new, especially when it is cold
2. Some lights on the dashboard worked, some did not.
3. Some warning lights would come on and then go away again.
4. Many fault codes and electrical modules displayed errors

I've had all these problems ever since the battery was fitted, no problems before that. Multiple mechanics could not work out the issue. I feel gutted. I probably will not use Clickmechanic blindly again. I will definitely screen the actual person doing the fitting more thoroughly. Read more
