Appointment booked between 8.00am and 10.00am rang mechanic 9.45am to see if he was on his way, he told me he had overrun on a job and he friend was on his way he arrived 10.20am I gave him the key to the car and explained my conversation with the mechanic Adil that it most likely needed the oil sensor changing which he told me he had ordered and would have it that afternoon and if need be take the car and return it. I left to go to work 10 minutes later the mechanic closed my car and posted the keys through the letter box, which I could see on my Jaguar App. I then got a call that afternoon from Adil saying he had watched some videos and this problem is a nightmare and the best thing is to ring Jaguar-landrover he could give me the number or he could order the oil sensor and try that however it would take 6 hours of labour and cost around £800. 00.
