Jay was the ideal mechanic to send. He owned the same car as myself, so had total familiarity with the design and common problems. My principle problem has been solved, but further work needs to be done in stages at a later date. All evaluation of the problem and testing was carried out at home on my driveway, so I didn't need to arrange a tow truck to take it to a garage. A great service.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that your original booking was for diagnostics only on your central locking system. During the visit, we carried out a full diagnostic, checked the fuses, attempted to reset the keys, and identified the fault as being related to the keyless-go module, which requires a main dealer for replacement and programming.
We communicated our findings and advised on the next steps. The follow-up repair you requested with a second-hand part would have been a separate job, as the original booking was diagnostics only. Please also note that we do not fit used or second-hand parts, as they may be untested, unreliable, and do not come with a warranty.
We always strive to provide clear guidance and quality service, and we regret any misunderstanding regarding the scope of the job.
