I completed my apprenticeship with Blox Services in London and subsequetly spent 13 years there before the business closed down. My move after Blox Services was to a well known security company called Securicor for around 5 years where I was fitting data tracking systems to the fleet of vehicles. I decided after this that I wanted to run my own business and did so and had the firm for around 6 years before selling the business. I worked at a Mercedes Benz dealership until 2006 then set-up again on my own calling the business Blox Services. The business is going from strength to strength and we have a great customer base of both commercial and domestic customers. With the vast range of customers it allows us to work on all makes and models of cars and also vans/lorries and any repair can pretty much taken on by us here at Blox Services and the team also specialise in auto electrics. Martin was excellent. He called me within 10 minutes of my booking being confirmed, explained the whole process of car inspection, set up the appointment with the dealer for the next morning and called me as soon as he was finished to give me an update on the car. He also gave me some solid advice on what the car was worth, which gave me a great basis to make a reasonable offer. Highly recommend. Thanks so much Martin!

Ford Focus Carry out checks into o/s/f window not working trace fault to window motor advise customer but part is main dealer and cannot get part until next week

Martin was very polite and kept in contact.
However I am not at all happy with the service from Click Mechanic.
From the first communication I have said that the window motor needed replacing.
All that happened today, not yesterday because it rained, is that Martin and his partner confirmed what I already know! The window motor is broken.
No parts were brought with to complete the repair as quoted.
I am now out of pocket for a diagnostic of what I already know the problem to be.
Why was I given a quote and yet nothing was replaced?
I was told by Martin that I’d have to pay another £188 for a motor that he’d order and come back another to fix.
Thanks for nothing ClickMechnanic.

Very sorry that i could not repair your vehicle but yesterday it was raining and i contacted you and we both agreed the repair would be carried out today. The booking was for a window regulator replacement not a motor. I did try to bring the motor but as i explained that i could not get the motor from motor factors i did phone main dealer but they did not have the part as was closed for stock taking and could only get the part next week but the vehicle was not available it was going to be in Oxford.
