Overall service was good though final cost was higher than anticipated.

An additional part was used to repair my car and I should have been informed of this and the cost before the work was done.

Also the mechanic was due to get to me between 2pm and 4pm. He got to me at 7.30pm. Luckily we weren't going out anywhere otherwise this could have been a real problem.

I sympathise that they got stuck on another job and a lot of traffic to get to me however it's very frustrating having to wait around.

All in all once they got to me they did a good job.

I asked for an inspection of an old BMW. Instead of checking it thoroughly and indicating that there was no point in making any repair, the mechanice insisted on installing new brakes, at a significant cost.
