Honda CR-V SRS/Airbags Inspection

To be fair he carried out the test which was the designated task but he has stated he is unwilling to do any further related work which left me feeling a bit high and dry. I sensed the mechanic was as frustrated as I was at the apparent outcome of the diagnostics test which suggested that a resolution looks potentially very expensive. There was however, a distinct lack of confidence in him suggesting a repair for an absolute cure, most likely as he had no previous experience to fall back on?

I told you the problem was the airbag unit clock spring the booking was a diagnostic inspection not a repair you can buy the part on eBay for less than £25 i had the same problem with my vehicle which i told you .
I have plenty of experience to fall back on thank you.I didn’t say i was unwilling to do any further work on the vehicle you sounded like you was hard up to pay anything more on the vehicle

Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to fix the issue with no new parts.
He also called to say he meant to come tomorrow, but was able to rearrange to resolve my issue today instead when I said I would be unavailable.
Fantastic guy.

He turned up when he said he would a really knowledgable and friendly mechanic he got straight on with the repair which must have been really uncomfortable as the temperature outside was about -2 degrees when he had finished he came for a test drive with me to make sure it was working correctly and that I was happy would recommend him highly and if I have any more problems I would have him back

Recommended a new 12v battery and I’ll try that but I’m not convinced it’s the real problem.

You should replace your car battery when its State of Health (SoH) drops below 70-80%, or if it's over 5 years old, showing signs like slow cranking, dimming lights, frequent jump starts, a swollen case, or dashboard warning lights, indicating it can't hold a charge or deliver enough power. but low voltage (below 12.4V when off) is a key indicator. Your battery at 64%
Also drops well under 12 volts when ignition on and keeps dropping Thanks 👍
