I spoke to the mechanic and the interaction was great. What wasn’t good was the seller who, for some reason, was convinced I was a scammer and the mechanic was a fake. He subsequently reported the mechanic, reported me and, when his conviction wasnt realised, refused to return my deposit because ‘I wasted his time’ There are people out there like that.
