Toyota Auris Alternator replacement

Paul was terrific he did a great work with the alternator. But later because the belt was too tight I had to replace the water pump after 3weeks which cost me £150 to replace. But I am happy with what he did with the alternator as it fixed the initial problem. Paul has also assured warranty of the alternator for 1 year.

As we discussed on the phone, the warranty was void when someone else worked on the vehicle as I can’t guarantee someone else’s work. This is standard. As I said, I would have happily looked at it again and if there were any problems that were caused on my behalf then I would have rectified them. I understand that it is frustrating however I can’t take another mechanics word, especially one I don’t know, as true and provide a refund on that basis. Thank you again for your custom and your feedback.

Paul contacted me advising of ETA then was more than happy to undertake the work in front of my property which has a gradient on the drive. Paul was VERY quick to undertake the work and quality checked his own work and most importantly has changed my perspective on just going to Halfords for everything!
