Stewart did a good job n my 88 Mitsubishi colt, friendly and efficient, will certainly re-book.

Stewart rang me on the morning to let me know exactly what time he was going to arrive. He was very friendly and approachable. He changed my timing belt and water pump in about 2 hours and kept me informed at all times. Very impressed with his work. Will deffo be using again! Thanks Stewart.

He was very professional, no nonsense, very fast, courteous and no problems at all.

At first I didn't know what was wrong with my car because it wouldn't start so initially I didn't know what to order from the selection choice so I ordered a diagnostic and saw it also offered services for non starters. I assumed both may be relevant and came to a total of £85 which I prepaid with my card...
I was contacted straight away by a mechanic called Stewart.
The slot was from 10am-12pm which he called to confirm. Stewart arrived the next day just before 12pm and the within ten minutes the car was working again..
Stewart came to tell me my car needed a jump start but it was working now and all I needed was a new battery which would cost a further £255. I was a bit shocked but asked Stewart if I could pay cash as I only had a bit of cash on me so Stewart said he would charge £180 if I paid cash to help save me some money which I thought was really nice of him after explaining the financial difficulties I have been having!
But after thinking about it for a while and after messaging my friend... because I don't really have the cash atm... I decided I didn't really need a new battery as I will be selling the car anyway. So he didn't complain that I changed my mind and he refitted the battery even though he had taken it out.
So all in all it cost me £85 for a jump which I think is a bit expensive none the less I am more aware now for future on how to order and how to use these services, it being my first time!
One note: He could have dropped the diagnostic charge at least as I doubt he used a diagnostic... But other than price service was bang on! Thank you! Read more
