What happens if my Klarna booking amount needs to increase?
Sometimes, after your booking is confirmed, the mechanic may discover that additional work or parts are needed to complete the job. In such cases, the total cost of your booking may need to be updated.
What happens next?
If you’re using Klarna Pay in 3, we’ll request authorisation from Klarna for the new, higher amount. Klarna will reassess your eligibility based on the updated total.
✅ If Klarna approves the increase, your Klarna payment plan will be updated accordingly, and no further action is needed.
❌ If Klarna declines the increase: don’t worry—your booking can still go ahead.
You’ll simply need to:
- Provide a valid debit or credit card to pay the difference.
- Klarna will still cover the original amount; only the additional cost needs to be paid separately.
The mechanic should always notify you before any additional charges are made and only proceed with your consent.
