Do you use a secure payment system?

Yes — ClickMechanic uses secure, PCI-compliant payment providers to protect your card and payment details. We never store your full card information on our systems. Your payment is processed through trusted third parties using encrypted connections and extra fraud checks.

How your payment details are protected

• PCI-DSS compliant providers: Card payments are handled by Stripe and, for some transactions, Adyen — both are PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant (the highest standard for payment security).
  
• Encrypted checkout: Payments are processed over SSL/TLS encryption, so your data is protected in transit.
  
• 3-D Secure / Strong Customer Authentication: Where required by your bank, you may be asked to verify the payment (for example via your banking app). This helps prevent unauthorised use.
  
• Klarna security: If you choose Klarna, Klarna handles the payment flow securely and is PCI-DSS validated.
