Self employed since I left school, initially from a young age worked at my uncle's workshop in school holidays & weekends learning the trade at an early age. I studied at Colchester Institute for my BTEC qualification in Automotive Engineering & Electronics & I then began sub contracting as a self employed mechanic to garages when needed. In 2002 I set-up my own business as Andrew Ablett Servicing & Repairs as initially garage services but over the past few years we have also branched into mobile work due to high demand. The business caters for all makes and models of car & tackles all types of repairs. I have worked on a vast range of vehicle from the 1930's through to the present day, including cars, vans, motorcycles, military and agricultural so have a wide range of knowledge. Read more
