On the 26/12/2020, I booked a Major Service for my car “Megan 2006”,through ClickMechanic to be done the 28th of December 2020 at the price of £238.48.
On 28 December 2020 , the mechanic Antonio phoned me to inform me that he would send a driver to pick up my car , to do the Major Service on my car , booked and paid £238.48.
I called Antonio to inform about the recent poor performance of my car and for some vibrations felt when I was accelerating, therefore told him I would prefer to do his job in my car park.
He said not to worry about it, because the engine light wasn't on so my car could have be driven.
The driver came to pick up my car at 11:30 am, and brought it back around 6pm.
I had left half a tank full of petrol, it was returned almost empty.
The mechanic never contacted me to inform me of the work done on my car or if there was any additional work to be done (0 professionalism).
The next day I drove the car for 5 minutes, I immediately noticed that the car vibrated more than before and had deteriorated in performance.
I had left half a tank full, it was returned almost empty.
In the meantime, I bought a professional diagnostic reader and today it revealed an error code "PO300".
I am almost certain that the mechanic has never changed the spark plugs on my car, but at this point I doubt even the other parts he should have done.
I will be contacting a professional mechanic in the next few days to see if all the work and parts have been changed.
After that if this has not been done, I will contact my lawyer to sue whoever is responsible for it.
I am a father of two small children, I cannot allow or overlook the fact that a mechanic has endangered my safety and that of my family.
I am very disappointed with the ClickMechanic service, which I tried for the first time and will never use again.
